Basecamp Masai Mara Reviews

Basecamp Masai Mara Reviews

Are you looking for honest Basecamp Masai Mara Reviews? Well, we got you covered.

As tour guide and tourists, I have been to Basecamp Masai Mara several times. During my last visit in November 2025, a lot had changed for the better and I can comfortably assert that this Masai Mara Lodge has all it takes to be among the Best Resorts in the entire World.

To start with, Basecamp Explorer Masai Mara is a recommendable Masai Mara Lodge because it offers guests an opportunity to view wildlife right from the comfort of their tents.

As mentioned earlier on, Basecamp Explorer Masai Mara is located along the banks of River Talek which is frequently visited by animals seeking to quench their thirst. When the sun is hot, most animals can be seen grazing near and around the river making it easy for tourists to spot them.

Another good thing about Basecamp Explorer Masai Mara is that it offers tourists a chance to feel what an authentic safari experience feels like. During your stay at this Masai Mara Tented Camp, you have an option to enjoy your meals by the riverside.

Basecamp Masai Mara

I liked this experience because the natural sound of water flowing and seeing some fish jump in and out of the water was so relaxing. If you are in the mood to eat and enjoy meals just like the early conservationists and explorers did while on a Masai Mara Safari, riverside dining at Basecamp Masai Mara should be on your bucket-list.

Finally, Basecamp Masai Mara is a good accommodation option because the management has hired a very experienced and polite staff. They are very attentive and friendly, they make you feel welcomed and cared for.

If you are looking for a Masai Mara Camp that offers exceptional services and the staff member are also trained on guest safety, wildlife awareness and emergency procedures, you should highly consider Basecamp Masai Mara.

The River View Tents are highly recommendable because they are positioned along the Talek River and have private verandahs which is perfect for sunset drinks, morning coffee and viewing wildlife.
