I also learned how Kenya’s communication has evolved from traditional styles such as blowing horns, use of smoke and drums to telephone booths, to mobile phones and now smart phones. I really enjoyed the museum tour. It was quite informative!

During my visit to Tafaria Castle, I enjoyed swimming in the heated waters because I felt luxurious, relaxed and satisfied! This swimming pool has really contributed a significant part of how I view Tafaria Castle Nyeri as one of the Best Places to Visit in Nyeri.
Point to note: There is also an outdoor pool that is highly recommendable during the hot season.
As mentioned earlier on, the Aberdares are not located far from Tafaria. If you are seeking accommodation at Tafaria Castle for an extended period of time, you can dedicate one day to going for a game drive at the Aberdare National Park.
Some of the animals you are likely to spot during your game drive include; Lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, Bongo Antelope, Rhinos, Giant Forest Hog, Colobus and Sykes Monkeys just to mention a few.
