The Marangu Route, also known as the Coca Cola route, is popular for its shorter duration and the presence of permanent huts at the campsites. Despite its popularity, it has a lower summit success rate due to its shorter acclimatization period. The route shares the same path for both ascent and descent, leading to higher traffic.
